Most CCTV companies today
provide analog systems to their clients. These systems
are great for small shop and office tenants as they
are relatively inexpensive and easy to setup. Unfortunately
they are not useful for most commercial real estate
applications do to the low resolution inherent to
an analog system. The typical resolution of an analog
camera is less than .1 mega pixels. The absolute
maximum is .4 mega pixels, which is the equivalent
to an analog TV.IP network cameras are a new to the
surveillance world. These cameras are digital and
use cat5 network cable (as opposed to coaxial cable)
to send data back to a network recording server (NVR).
IP cameras are comparable in quality to the latest
consumer digital cameras. These mega pixel cameras
are capable of resolutions over 10 times that of
the best analog systems and over 2 times the resolution
of HDTV.

The clarity and quality of IP cameras is ideal
for parking lots, lobbies, warehouses, or anywhere
that has large spaces or requires high detail
such
as license plate or facial identification.
Property Surveillance Systems exclusively uses
IP network cameras and are familiar with the
unique
difficulties associated with integrating them in
commercial properties. We provide more effective
and affordable solutions than other companies that
market IP cameras through a variety of solutions
including propriety devices to better suite large
properties such as shopping centers where standard
network solutions would be impossible or prohibitively
expensive.
